Seriously Old Dirt 2014 –

Seriously Old Dirt is a Cabernet-dominated blend created by Vilafonté as a kind of "second wine" with a focus on expressing the old soil types ("old dirt") in the Western Cape region.

A dark and elegant red wine with power and finesse. The aroma offers blackberries, blackcurrants, dried flowers, and spice with an underlying minerality. The taste delivers ripe fruit, firm tannins, and a stony structure that gives the wine's character depth and balance.

Ready to drink now, but still with potential for development for several years to come — especially if the bottle has been stored optimally.
Pairs well with grilled dark meats, lamb, game, and aged cheeses.
Serve at approx. 16-18 °C.
